– Assisted the largest private player on the Belgian renewable energy market in the acquisition and development of a series of wind farms in the Black Sea region and Central-West region of Romania; performing legal and tax due diligence investigations, delivering relevant reports, advised on various legal issues pertaining to grid connection, construction and construction related permits, EPC and O&M agreements regarding wind parks, agreements with neighboring landowners, grant of subsidies process, necessary approvals and licenses required under Romanian law

– Assisted one of the largest coal trading companies in the world in a dispute pertaining the recovery of a debt of approximately EUR 11 million

– Assisted a Hungarian investor in a transaction for acquiring shares in a Romanian target company activating in renewable energy field; the rendered services included performing due diligence investigations on the target company and providing legal assistance for the transaction

– Assisted a leading global financial services company and an universal bank serving both retail and corporate clients as lenders on an intercreditor agreement and in connection with the clients’ granting a term facility to a major Romanian oil and gas company; rendered services included security package structures, preparing security documents under Romanian laws, previous securities release and registering new securities, advice on the enforcement of a number of securities; project value: USD 205 million

– Assisted private investors in their intended financing of several co-gen projects under public private partnerships with Romanian local authorities
