– Advised a Romanian Heat and Power Association acting as the representative of 20 thermal power plants in connection with a foreign syndicated loan; the loan was backed by state guarantees and was destined to supply the 20 thermal plants with the fuel necessary for winter heating production; the firm’s assignments included drafting and reviewing the whole lending documentation, assisted throughout the negotiation process, drafting the documentation required for the notification with the Competition Council, as well as drafting of

– Assisted the minority shareholders (holding 5% of the share capital of each company) of two companies active in the natural gas distribution/supply on regional markets in Romania in their exit from the two energy companies; the firm had also assisted the shareholders in selling their majority package in said companies

– Assisted one of Romania’s most important EPC contractors in a series of public procurement procedures organized by major Romanian energy companies for the purpose of awarding contracts in amount of EUR 60 to 95 million each, as well as in the complaints filed in front of NCSC and the litigation files pursued in front of the Romanian courts related to the said awards

– Assisted a company active in the product areas of nuclear service, nuclear technology, magnet technology and environmental technology in all complaints and legal claims filed in relation with the award of the public contract in the tender for the award of the works contract for construction of desulphurization installation

– Assisted a wind plant developer throughout the process of setting up wind farms in various locations in Romania; work rendered involved drafting the necessary agreements in relation with the local authorities, assistance for the obtaining of the permits and licenses
