– Assisted the majority shareholder in a natural gas supplier and distributor in the process of selling shares; the firm prepared the submissions filed in response to the additional queries of the anti-trust regulator following the initial relevant notification, mainly aimed at determining whether there had been a requirement for a previous notification of an economic concentration

– Assisted an international energy company operating along the entire value chain, from generation, trading, transmission and distribution to sales in connection with the client’s intended acquisition of a 45 MW wind project in Romania; rendered services included performing due diligence investigations on the project company and delivering the relevant report, as well as a thorough assessment of the alternative investment options for the client

– Assisted an international consortium on its joint venture with a Romanian electrical and thermal power producer and distributor pertaining to new generation capacities – 200 megawatt and 210 megawatt power plants, each valued at EUR 200 million

– Assisted a private energy company on a project aiming at the retrofit and switch from fossil coal to biomass of a CET, namely two of the four blocks of the power station were reshaped to biomass firing with an increase of 50 megawatt in the power capacity

– Assisted the market-leading suppliers of products and services for the power generating industry in preparation of the offers, response to clarifications, negotiation of contractual deviations, complaints against the tender documentation in a series of public procurement procedures organized by major Romanian energy companies, as well as by Romanian municipalities, with the purpose of awarding works contracts for rehabilitation and modernization of power units and retooling of hot water boilers, contracts prepared under FIDIC Yellow Book
