– Assisted a strategic investor in the process for the acquisition of a natural gas distributor, the licensee of the distribution grid in a Romanian city, as well as on specific regulatory matters pertaining to the natural gas industry
– Assisted a company active in the product areas of nuclear service, nuclear technology, magnet technology and environmental technology in all phases of public procurement procedures organized by major Romanian energy companies, as well as in the complaints filed in front of the National Council for Solving Complaints (NCSC) and the litigation files pursued in front of the Romanian courts related to the said awards, in cases worth more than EUR 300 million (major projects outlined in this section)
– Assisted a project company for the construction and operation of a cogeneration group intended to increase the power capacity of a plant by 5 MW, compliant with low emission standards; the project was carried out on greenfield basis, under no state guarantee or mandatory PPA; project value: EUR 5 million (value of the relevant investment)
– Assisted a company active in the product areas of nuclear service, nuclear technology, magnet technology and environmental technology in preparing and submission of the offer, in the complaints filed by other bidders in front of NCSC and the competent courts of law and in the negotiation and conclusion of the public contract, all in relation with the tender for award of the works contract for construction of a desulphurization installation; project value: EUR 76.5 million
– Assisted a natural gas distributor on a variety of legal matters in connection with the client’s day-to-day business activity; rendered services include continuous advice on corporate matters, assisted on a spin-off project, advice on various employment matters, assisted the company acting as lender in obtaining a loan, as well as support in connection with a major crisis management situation faced by the client
