– Assisted a major Romanian leasing company in relation to a nationwide debt recovery plan initiated by the client against more than 400 default clients; while relevant strategies approached in each individual case range from assisted in foreclosures proceedings, to initiating summary and common legal actions, or representation in insolvency procedures and bankruptcy legal files, the firm seconded a full time team at the client’s office to act as a liaison in managing the files

– Assisted the leader on the Romanian market of pharmaceuticals distributors in the complex debt recovery program initiated by 35 of its default clients; identifying settlement opportunities and ensuring the benefit of the debts in case of threatened bankruptcy of the debtors, customized enforcement of the debtors aimed to ensure the efficiency of the recovery, appointment and negotiations regarding the powers of the special administrators/liquidators, assessing legal feasibility of reorganization plans, including providing restructuring strategies, ensuring the creditor’s debt collection

– Assisted the first GSM network in Romania on debt recovery issues pertaining to overdue client accounts, with over 10,000 client accounts managed each year, for more than 5 years; rendered services included assessing the optimal legal procedures for debt recovery, from notice sending, representation in court files, insolvency procedures and enforcement procedure, while implementing the best legal approach such that to ensure high collection rates

– Assisted an international hotel chain in the insolvency procedure initiated by one of the client’s debtors against the client for an alleged debt, with the firm’s lawyers obtaining the full rejection by the court of justice of the said claim

– Assisted the world’s largest tire and rubber company in a series of litigation cases – including commercial, insolvency cases, product liability claims – preparing relevant strategy, assisted in negotiations and in front of the courts, designing settlement structures
