– Assisting a state owned national company active in the construction and operation of the Romanian motorways and roads infrastructure and providing local expertise for drafting, revising and negotiating the PPP contract concluded by the client for the construction of a section of the Bucharest – Brasov Motorway; the Romanian authorities were provided with legal advice concerning compliance of the PPP contracts with the Romanian PPP legislation

– Assisted a management construction company acting as member in various consortiums in attracting financing for the purpose of road construction projects, part of the National Program for Infrastructure Development (PNDI) (not implemented); project value: up to EUR 1,6 billion

– Assisted a Romanian power plant in a project aimed at the retrofit and switch from fossil coal to biomass firing of a CHP, namely two of the four blocks of the power station were reshaped to biomass firing with an increase in power capacity of 50 MW; main activities were drafting of the main agreements for the setting up and operation of the Project company, review and negotiation of the financing documents, legal counselling regarding the energy regulatory framework

– Assisted one of the most prominent company in the fields of construction and engineering in relation with the PPP contract concluded with the Romanian State for the Predeal – Brasov section. Our lawyers were involved in revising the PPP contract for constructing as well operating the motorway

– Assisted an international financial institution that supports projects from central Europe to central Asia as lender in negotiating and drafting the finance documents for granting a loan to the Romanian electricity transmission system operator and national power dispatcher to be used for the construction of a 110 km over-head electric transmission line; project value: EUR 24 million
