– Assisted the Romanian subsidiary of a medical equipment company for the purpose of identifying the best bidding solutions in relation to various public procurement procedures, as well as in the response to clarifications, obtaining necessary documentation to be submitted, assisted in complaints in front of CNSC and litigation files in front of the Romanian courts related to a series of such procedures with the object of purchase of medical equipment (RMN, computer tomography), especially organized by Romanian public hospitals;

– Assisted the leader on the Romanian market of pharmaceuticals distributors in a competition related litigation case against the Competition Council regarding the largest single fine ever imposed by the Romanian competition regulator, i.e. EUR 13.5 million; the firm was successful in obtaining for the client the full annulment of this fine, after having also obtained a stay order for the said; with the decision of the Competition Council applied to a group of market players (including the client) for

– Assisted a Romanian insurance company in front of the courts in litigation cases concerning the annulment of a tender organized by a state-owned company through the Romanian Commodities Exchange, for the provision of insurance services related to aeronautical activities and the suspension of the award related to the mentioned bid

– Assisted world’s largest tire and rubber company in a series of litigation cases – including commercial, insolvency cases, product liability claims – preparing relevant strategy, assisted in negotiations and in front of the courts, designing settlement structures

– Assisted a global, independent biopharmaceutical company in a litigation case and a series of relevant administrative complaints for the reimbursement by tax authorities of wrongfully calculated claw-back tax; high success rate in assisted cases; these cases involved a multi-disciplinary team formed of specialized pharma lawyers, litigators and tax consultants
