– Assisted a Nederland based holding company providing insurance and pension services in CEE and CIS in front of the Competition Council in respect of the notification of the economic concentration on the insurance market, pursuant to the acquisition of a major insurance Romanian company (holding a market share between 7% to 37%, depending on the class of the insurance policies)

– Assisted a leading US-based health care insurance company in a series of investigations under Romanian legislation, aimed at the client’s initiation of a cross-border business in Romani

– Assisted a major insurance company in connection with an EUR 2 million claim referring to an alleged breach of surety bond under an insurance policy issued by the client

– Assisted the local subsidiary of a Cypriot bank the local management in connection to the warranties to be granted by the seller based on the endorsements from the local management, as well as on other Romanian regulatory aspects in connection with the client’s the mother company intent of selling its majority stake in the Romanian; also assisted the bank in renewing its D&O policy with extended run-off coverage

– Assisted an insurance company, member of a major Insurance Group in the process of acquisition of certain Romanian insurance companies, followed by a merger between three entities
