Assisted body initiated by the European Commission in cooperation with the European Investment Bank, acting through one of the world’s leading financial service providers as investment manager, on various legal matters on licensing the client’s activity of professional lending in Romania, in connection with a subordinated loan committed to a Romanian bank, for the subsequent lending in ESCO and energy efficiency projects; rendered services included regulatory aspects, as well as reviewing and negotiating the loan agreements for subordinated loans

Assisted an ESCO company active in energy production during the negotiations of a joint venture agreement with a Local Council for the implementation of a electrical and thermal generation capacity, construction of experimental facilities for managing the generated pollutants, construction of energy efficiency capacities for waste management purposes, performing works for achieving increased energetic efficiency of the plant; project value: EUR 800.000

– Assisted a German-based company engaged in the non-recourse purchase and sale of receivables – the forfeiting business, as well as the acceptance of risks through purchasing commitments as lenders on all Romanian legal matters regarding the clients’ granting a term facility to the Romanian state-owned subway company; project value: EUR 45 million

– Assisted a specialist bank for the public sector in Central and Eastern Europe as lender on a loan granted to the Romanian Ministry of Public Finance, divided into equal segments intended for acquisition of new aircraft, the partial rehabilitation of a railway and the rehabilitation of a railroad; project value: EUR 300 million

– Assisted one of the most important players in the Romanian banking system in financing the public works of a Romanian local authority by means of purchasing Promissory Notes; project value: EUR 12 million
