Assisted the Romanian entity of a large cash & carry company in connection with different controls by the National Consumer Protection Authority (NCPA) representatives, including analyzing the identified problems and creating remedies, using different marketing formulas as well as different procedures for price listing and promotional campaigns, publishing leaflets among others
Assisted one of the leaders on the German trade and tourism market in establishing internal policies regarding deceptive commercial practices, specific situations commonly encountered in practice sanctioned by National Consumer Protection Authority (NCPA) representatives, labeling, promotional packages, expired promotional campaigns among others. The services provided also included revising contracts concluded with various suppliers of food/non-food products, updating documents according to the changes in legislation and in practice
– Assisted a German company, one of the leaders in retail and travel on the European market in their project aimed at closing-down the supermarkets operated under one of its two brands in Romania and also assisted on the lease agreements with each of new individual lessee – retailers active in fashion, sports and pharm
– Assisted one of the most active retail park developers on the Romanian market in the acquisition of 9 hectares of land in Bucharest, for the purpose of building two 12 floors office buildings with a total surface of 20,000 sqm (the first office building project of the Flemish real estate developer on the Romanian market), and a retail park including a shopping mall of approximately 100,000 sqm; project value: EUR 60 million
– Assisted a multinational consulting, technology and management services company on negotiating the agreements regarding the lease and fit-out of the headquarters in Bucharest, with a surface of approx. 1,500 sqm; work rendered included obtaining all necessary corporate approvals, and/or making the necessary registrations with the Romanian authorities
