Assisted Romania’s largest banking group and one of the key operations of an Austrian banking group in the Central and Eastern Europe in connection with the assessment of the lawfulness of almost 20,000 garnishment requests, in a complex project in which a legal team of over 10 lawyers was full time seconded at the client’s office; rendered services included assessing garnishment requests and enforcement titles issued by the fiscal authorities for overdue duties of the taxpayers

Assisted a major independent international private equity group in the process for the collection and the registration shares from approximately 7,000 of the minority shareholders of a Romanian Bank, holding 20% of the bank’s shares, and subsequently in the sale of the said 20% stock to a Hungarian bank

Assisted a specialist bank for the public sector in Central and Eastern Europe as lender in respect of a loan agreement signed with the Sibiu City Council and the Sibiu City Hall, for a financing facility destined for the development and modernizing of the Sibiu airport; project value: EUR 40 million

Assisted German-based company engaged in the non-recourse purchase and sale of receivables – the forfeiting business, as well as the acceptance of risks through purchasing commitments as lenders, on all Romanian legal matters regarding the clients’ granting a term facility to the Romanian state-owned subway company; project value: EUR 45 million

Assisted the Romanian subsidiary of a niche Austrian bank in the structuring and implementation by the client of a cross-border loan warehousing structure for corporate loans by using the mother company in Austria as booking platform
