The existence of certain deficient aspects of the normative background and of a non-unitary practice in the field of insolvency has caused the recent revision and the change of the Insolvency Law, which in the first three years after its coming into effect had already been amended four times. The main declared objectives of these new changes, analyzed in this month's cover article, are to ensure a unitary implementing of the insolvency-related legislation and to ensure the celerity of the insolvency procedure.
